London, September 2009
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009I’ve been in London again, to live life to the hilt and then some, together with the love of my life, Mia. We also saw Okkervil River and met up with Agnes.
Giddup-a! Geddondown-a!
I’ve been in London again, to live life to the hilt and then some, together with the love of my life, Mia. We also saw Okkervil River and met up with Agnes.
Another batch of links, this time on DJ AM and his hypocrisy, tough reading for kids, an application to help you download Google Books as PDFs, whistling pigeons, the design of Blossa Glögg 09, Neil Gaiman’s library photographed, 100 years of visual effects in video (video!) and Anthony Bourdain haunting restaurants of Manhattan.
Yesterday was lovely: Drop Coffee, walking around Bagarmossen with Mia, photography, reading and somebody playing old gramophone records in Fatbursparken. And I miss my maternal grandmother.
Today Mia and I visited the premiere of Drop Coffee, the #1 café in Stockholm, bought new clothes, made dinner and tried to see “Watchmen”; you can’t write “see ‘Watchmen’” and get away with it, can you?
Drop Coffee is the name of the café that’s superseding Tvålpalatset. Here you’ll find a few pictures documenting the growth of the new place, that’s officially premiering in August but has already sneak-premiered.
