I have a theory though, I read somewhere that Morrissey couldnt get rid of his fans even if he wanted to. Also I believe that he hates many of his fans so bingolotto and esc is just a way to get rid of them! What Moz has forgotten is that the downside to his brilliant idea is that he is about to build a new army of fans if he enters the esc. These people have been waiting for the saviour to return ever since Rob Pilatus died.
And when this happends, yes he will have better and more fans than Iron Maiden!

If you dont know who Rob Pilatus is, he is the one to the left in the picture.

Well, if I'd know who JJ Allin was... HAHAHA you belonk mud! Anyway, remember the magic of Morrissey through masterpieces such as "Vauxhall & I" and ~~"Powerslave"~~ remember the greatness; the fans are a different issue, right? If an artist would be defined by her/his fans, I wholly hope Iron Maiden wouldn't like their image to be pot-bellied, stupid and obtuse; on the other hand, they don't have real fans, do they? Morrissey has fans who travel across the globe to see him, people who start riots in sheer hunt for his shirt, thrown into the audience. Iron Maiden's fans riot by farting in tune to any modern pop-song that's got a distorted guitar in it. Still, some on the sad tip on Swedish Morrissey-fans here. Well I’m neither going to defend him nor riducule him, I’m just suprised he chose to do it (if it’s actually true that is!) I would have thought he had better things to do than participate in the commercial artificial glamour & glitz of the ESC but maybe he wants to give the whole spectacal some more depth? He’s an well needed original without a doubt who has wit & depth combined very nicely, it’s the blind worship thing that some of his fans seem to suffer from that worries me, look who’s talking, the guy with frank Zappa tattooed on his arm:D

Zak is right, due to loyalty the man can do anything he wants and get away with it. I mean no matter what he does his fans would come up with an excuse for it, no ? =D

I wonder if Mozzarella would get away with acting like JJ Allin onstage.. taking a poop on himself n stuff.
