The video to Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” is great

Ra-raah!
Who said the anime days were over?

I told myself I wouldn’t blog this, but I can’t stop myself.

She’s wearing bespoke Alexander McQueen. Including this shoe-model off his amazing spring 2010 collection. And her own in-ear headphones. And a lot of other nerdy shit. The video’s directed by Francis Lawrence, who’s behind clips such as Britney’s “I’m a Slave 4 U“.

So, can this video get any better? BOO-ya!

Sphynx!
At 2:42 (!) this Sphynx pops up!

And I love the cheap fact that people’s minds are blown by the fact that Gaga’s face and hair isn’t very glammed-up during several shots. And what a freaking outro.

And what differs this video from Backstreet Boys’ performance at Jimmy Kimmel doing “Straight Through My Heart” is that Gaga’s choreography rules.

    Ridiculously great. She's stunning.

Too right! A brilliant start to what I hope will be a wonderful string of beautiful videos to accompany great singles; the next one will be "Telephone" that she did with Beyoncé.
