Winter, Halle Berry, SingStar

Winter\'s here yet again.Yes people, it’s an effing blizzard out there. I took this picture appx. 15 minutes ago, and already the weather’s fine. I’m thinking about leaving soon, and as I hit the street I’m sure the snow will be waiting for me in legion.

I just got a link to Query Letters I Love, a blog where mad people’s query letters are posted. Here you’ll find info on what exactly a query letter does. The blog contains a few really moronic ones, e.g. one saying “For more details / full screenplay / Word2000 floppy please contact …” to which the editor equivocally types “Who the fuck sends out FLOPPY DISCS anymore? 1987 calling!

I’ve also read that Halle Berry just accepted a Razzie award, i.e. a form anti-Oscar, for “best actress”, calling the film that earned her the award in question (“Catwoman“) a “piece of shit”. Well, she’s probably right but somehow I get the feeling she’s not played her part well. I haven’t seen “Monster’s Ball” yet but people say it’s good. I have, however, seen her in “Swordfish” (one of the greatest video-atrocities of modern time) and “X-Men“, that also was an equivalent of booting your own head off: incredible and moronic.

Soon I’ll be off to get hold of “SingStar 2: Party“. It’s a karaoke party game for the PS2, with duet support, i.e. two mics! It’ll be real fun, and there are a lot of great songs available.

By no way, I have to share this badly Photoshopped picture with you. I hated it until I caught eye of the moron on the screen. Then I understood the kitty.

I want to become a sing-star! Love the ad.

We’ve just sung for 45 minutes and SingStar’s a lot better than the karaoke game Frederic has. This contains a lot of good tracks – and of course a lot of crappy ones. SingStar doesn’t have Motown songs like the Frederic game…but it has European songs. So you’re all mighty welcome over here to sing! I’ll put a karaoke party together soon enough…

O mighty! Perfect! looking forward to sing a duet. And to sing toxic. And to listen to divine Mikaela, she must do something with singing. Maybe there are some chapel or something where she can practice?
We have a theatre-dinner this saturday, and friday we´re planning to go to Landet, quite early, maybe have some food first, and then some drinks etc (join?!!!), and then next weekend S is going to London. Urgh I hate working at the stateofficials (?word?)

Duet singing is actually possible in SingStar, but it’s more to it than that. People can actually team up and sing against each-other. Two people can also battle each-other, i.e. sing the same song at the same time, and get graded! It’s so good! “Toxic” is not included in SingStar, but way better songs are.

Mikaela can sing at home, I mean, it’s really no problem. The acoustics are crap, of course, but it’s a free place to rehearse!

Maybe you’d do best to come over here and sing a few lines before heading to Landet? What do you say about it, maybe a dinner here?

So Staffan’s off to London? Bastard! Well, as I’m crap at leaving this country I can only long for Madrid at the moment. Mrs. *K* is actually there right now, having left the USA for the sunnier side of life! I hope they’re having a sunny time though, as relatives in Serbia have mentioned they’re having blizzards of snow in the entire country. A lady at work said her friends in Italy said the same thing about their weather.
