30 Boxes have released a “webtop”. So what’s that? The horse’s mouth:

[...] a starting point for your web apps and stay up to date on the latest updates (calendar and web stuff) from your buddies.

Strewth, it’s working brilliantly, and thanks to this Quick Add-Firefox-extension I now have a better equipped view of my calendar than ever!

On top of that I’m relatively soon getting a new mobile phone. Yep, I’m going from the Qtek 9090 to a Sony Ericsson M600i. Sure, no camera on the new phone, but it’s got loads of tricks built-in, such as no screaming screen or moronic “service-people” for a start, but imagine this: you’re on a meeting, and you set your phone to automatically answer any incoming messages and phone-calls with a customised SMS; this is built-into the latest version of the Symbian operating system that the M600i is running. And it’s got a calendar, touch-screen functionality, notepad and contact-list available. Just what I need. And a weird QWERTY-keyboard.

Speaking of which, it might even contain a spelling-engine. Not that I need one, but I would like a grammar-correcteur. Hm. This page helps a bit on the spelling-side of things, though.

You’ve heard The Knife? No? Czek this wonderful video.

The Yes Men seem to have turned out yet another masterpiece. Just check this article out, download the PowerPoint presentation and get laughing while you learn. Bill Hicks yet again..

Speaking of greatness, how about this demonstration against Christianity? Reminds you of this one, doesn’t it? And there’s actually a third hardcore kitty on the block, as unveiled today.

New carpet for the living-room Plan yer home online with that web 2.0-ish CAD-program. Only 2D, though. Speaking of which, Mikaelas has purchased a new carpet for our living-room as you can see in the picture next to this text.

Peter Bagge is interviewed by Vice Magazine here.

I wish everyone I know would be sending and receiving encrypted e-mail only. Is that hard to set up? With this guide and Portable Thunderbird – no!

Lightning Bolt have been rejected from Japan, but as the dynamic duo are complete gentlemen they’ve been nice about it even though it seems they were deplorably handled by the Japanese government.

Yes, Google Spreadsheet may initially look like an “Excel killer”, but hell no, it’s more like competition to iRows. Mind you, if you really want more out of yer web 2.0-Excel-clone-experience, go to Thinkfree (which works through Java, which means it’s heavy to load the first time around).

When making a new version of a film, one must do it out of one of three reasons: 1) money, 2) doing it better than the previous one(s), 3) you’ve lost your mind or, well, a mixture of the aforementioned ways, I’ve tried hard to find out why one should even think of doing a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s utter masterpiece – “Seven Samurai“,

And for last, don’t forget the life of a boss.

“It will be available for the “Find Updates” thing as soon as mozilla approves it, they just take like a decade to approve stuff…”
